We are a long-established road, cross country and fell running club and welcome men and women of all abilities. We currently have a membership of around 200. We meet at the National Watersports Centre, West Bridgford, Nottingham at 6.45 to run at 7.00 on Mondays and Thursdays except bank holidays.

Lake Handicap

Anne Taylor was the winner of the second Lake Handicap race, coming in 2 minutes 46 under her handicap time, just pipping Niki Donovan. In near perfect cool conditions, there were some strong performances, most notably Howard Partridge breaking his own V55 club record with a time of 16.46 - just a couple of weeks before his 60th birthday.

Race 2 results and overall standings now updated.

Summer League

Thanks to everyone who made the trip to Worksop on a humid night for the always enjoyable run through Sherwood forest.

The final race of the series is at the Teversal Trail on 11th August.

Results are now available on the Notts AAA website.

See our summer league guide for more information.

Grand Prix

Paul Lewis and Sarah Harris made it a Long Eaton double in the series. Stuart Spencer got his third win of the series at Colwick, but Paul's big win in the 10K proved crucial as he held on for a comfortable series win. Sarah Harris was dominant throughout, winning the series by a wide margin.

Race 4 results now available.

Congratulations to Graham Moffatt, Jacqueline Wilson and Sandy Poole, who won became county 10K champions at the Grand Prix race.

Speed Sessions Update

John Oldfield will be leading speed training sessions lakeside on Thursday evenings this summer. Please warm up by jogging to the bottom of the lake, river-side, to start at 7.15 prompt. More details about each session here.

Slow Runner Sessions

On the Thursday evenings when John Oldfield is organising the speed sessions, Christine Oldfield will guarantee to be around and willing to run with anyone who can’t find a slow enough group. So if you are a beginner or coming back from injury or recovering after a long hard race (or from a hard night!) you don’t need to stay at home or get left behind by a fast group. By ‘slow’ we mean around 11 minute mile pace and distance can be agreed to accommodate whoever turns up. See you in reception.

Fell Racing Championship

Just turn up and run, the more the merrier - why not give it a try this year? See the fell racing page for more details.

Pub Runs

Friday night pub runs return for the summer on 23rd April. See the full list.
