Club Runs

Mondays

We meet in main reception at the National Water Sports Centre at 6.45 to run at 7.

​​There are usually groups that run at 7.30, 8.00, 8.30 and 9.00 mile paces. There is also the steady paced group which runs at the pace of the slowest runner.​

To join a club run, you need to be able to run 5 miles continuously.​​

Look out for the duty runner who will help you find a group to join!

Thursdays

Our structured training sessions at 7pm Thursday nights continue with a variety of hills, intervals and tempo. Everyone is invited as they are for all paces whether you are looking to improve fitness as part of a group or prepare for road & cross-country races.


We generally meet at the Brewhouse pub on the corner of Trent Bridge, Embankment, where there’s free parking either on the road or in their car park where we’ll congregate. Keep an eye on the schedule as the location can change. Bring a head torch, wear high vis & warm clothing as appropriate.


There will also be optional club runs available, members are welcome to form groups and do their usual social runs instead, meeting from the same location with a duty runner on hand to make sure everyone knows what they’re doing. These are fun nights with the chance to push yourself as part of a group – we hope to see you there!

In the summer we tend to run to Radcliffe-on-Trent and beyond, or along parts of the Grantham Canal. In the winter, routes are through Edwalton, West Bridgford and the city centre.

Track

Our track sessions are finished now for the summer.

Tempo Sessions

The Lakeside Speed Sessions usually run throughout the summer season.

We need volunteers to lead the sessions! If you'd like to lead a session please email us.
