HP Road League
Following another successful running of the HP road league in 2025, we have decided to do it all again for 2026. Here are the races where you can collect points so get planning!

As usual we have tried to stick to races that are organised by running clubs and including the summer league and the races that are county championship events. Due to the timing of the 2025 presentation night, I have bumped the 2025 Turkey Trot race into the 2026 league so some of you will be starting the year with a few points on the board already!

This year we have 19 confirmed races with the possibility of the 2026 Turkey Trot being added if the dates line up with presentation night and there may also be a 2026 county championship marathon to add in. There is no need to do them all as only the best of 9 results count for the final score. The Summer League races are all free to enter, just turn up in HP kit and run.

Ashby 20 is already sold out but there should be no problem with the other races. A new race we're trying for 2026 is Erewash The Run, where the entry process is a bit mysterious, I believe you need to enter by post but as soon as I have details I’ll get them included in the weekly email. I’ve heard it's a good one so let's give it a go.

The league is open to first claim runners, you should wear your club top for the race – let's see a load of red and blue vests on those starting lines!
