How to Join

You can apply for membership using our online form.

Membership is £35 a year, which includes the use of the facilities at the Water Sports Centre.

We’re happy for people to try us for a few weeks before joining.

Discounts on races

The club is affiliated to the Midland Counties Athletic Association and UK Athletics. Club members therefore do not pay the “unattached” levy when entering races organised under UKA rules.

Free Races

All the league races – Summer League, North Midlands and East Midlands cross country – are free to club EA-affiliated members, as are numerous other team races throughout the year. There is also the club’s own Lake Handicap series in the summer and Cliffs Handicap race for club trophies.

Running Free

The monthly newsletter Running Free is sent monthly by email. Archive copies are available on request.

Discounts

Club members get discounts of 10% on production of their current membership card at Sweatshop and Up and Running. There is an online discount for sportshoes.com.
