How to Join
You can apply for membership via England Athletics using our online form.
When filling in the form, once you click the email confirmation, please select "Competitive" as your athletic status.
Membership is £40 a year, which includes the use of the facilities at the Water Sports Centre, weekly in-season track sessions and entry to many club races and events throughout the year.
We’re happy for people to try us for a few weeks before joining.

Discounts on races
The club is affiliated to the Midland Counties Athletic Association and UK Athletics. Club members therefore do not pay the “unattached” levy when entering races organised under UKA rules.
Free Races
All the league races – Summer League, North Midlands and East Midlands cross country – are free to club EA-affiliated members, as are numerous other team races throughout the year. There is also the club’s own Lake Handicap series in the summer and Cliffs Handicap race.
Running Free
The monthly newsletter Running Free is sent monthly by email. Archive copies are available on request.
Discounts
There are various discounts available to members at Up and Running, the Derby Runner, Lincoln Runner, Sportshoes, Sock Mine, and Start Fitness amongst others. See Running Free each month for details of current discounts.
