It's going to be a hot one - bring your water bottle... The weather forecast for Thursday evening is promising us 31 degrees at 7 pm! So bring your running cap and your running water bottle. There will be a drink station a little after the halfway point, when you leave Adbolton Lane to re-enter the National Water Centre. There is also water at the finish. However, with temperatures this high, it would be wise to carry your own water bottle to keep yourself hydrated during the longest race of the 2026 HPRC Grand Prix. To access race results and pictures from our talented photographers, check out our public Facebook page.
Just like last year, our social event will be hosted at the Rugby Club clubhouse, by the entrance to the National Water Centre. The same pizza truck as last year will be there too, and they promised that they will bring more ovens this time. There will be trophies, on-the-spot prizes and a raffle. To enter the raffle, just drop your running number in the raffle box after the race.
If you park at the National Water Centre, be aware that parking charges do apply. Here is a link to the car park website for more information: https://www.nwscnotts.com/car-parking/ Arriving after 18:30 should cost £2.90 till 20:00, after this time charges no longer apply - but double-check when booking that your time is extended until Friday morning!
It is possible to park near Lady Bay then jog to the start. However, we expect more than 400 runners at this race, so arrive early, and please be considerate to residents. Even better, you could cycle, especially now that the new bridge provides easy access from Colwick.
