HPRC 40th Anniversary Celebrations
Epic 40th celebration 8 leg relay!
Starting at 8.00am on July 17th, we are holding a relay run around the Vale of Belvoir to include all members of the club. We also will be inviting clubs who have had a strong association with us over the years to enter teams into the relay. All HPRC members who wish to take part in the relays will be placed into teams which will be balanced to even out running ability. The course has been planned by the organiser of the 40th Birthday Celebration, Howard Partridge. It consists of 8 approximately five-mile legs.
Relay
On the day
The First leg will start at 8.00am at Holme Pierrepont Water Sports Centre
Each leg will start with a mass start when the first runner from the previous leg finishes their leg
Each leg is approximately 5miles there are a few busy roads to cross, earlier legs need to navigate a little, you may want to reccy these. Once on the canal navigation should be easy- if you can’t see a canal at the side of you, you’re lost.
Please be considerate when parking at change overs
