Fell Race Championships 2008

Due to a keen interest in fell running by a few members over the years this event remains part of the club calendar. There are fives chosen short races of which you need to complete just 3 to count toward championship points. There was no lady winner last year so we are looking to entice more members, male & female to have ago. So if you can cope with 5 or 6 miles with a bit of hill work then who knows you may even enjoy the challenge.

For the first race we are collecting names of members who want the give it try and would like to share transport, sign up on the notice board. The 5 races are listed below with distance in miles and height gained in feet. Note apart from race 1 they are Monday & Thursday evenings to coincide with our normal club night. Again we can always share transport.
