The winner of the 2008
race was Neil Marshall, who also set a V50 club record for the Cliffs
course. While
most preferred to stay in the comfort zone, Neil Marshall set himself the
ambitious target of a V50 club record. He duly got it and won the race to
boot, a mere 3 seconds outside his predicted time. Congratulations to Neil
for his double success! He is the first person to win the trophy twice, this time
outright, after a dead heat with Colin Hallam Snr in 2005.
